Need to take more pictures...

Image
Sorry folks.  This week's pickins were pretty sparse.  I need to take more and better pictures.  So just for an update, we've been to the zoo again.  And Esther likes to make people out of fruit snacks.  Also, Isaac somehow morphed "Indiana Jones" into "Idaho Jones" in his mind.  And the palm fronds are strong enough for him to swing on, even when they are dying.

Stunt Devils

Reid has been trying to get Isaac and Esther to be as passionate about biking as he is.  He has this dream of our family going on biking trips and having family bonding time at the trails.  It started when Isaac was 2 years old and he got his first bike for Christmas.  Both kids could ride training wheel free at age 3, and now Reid is thrilled for the next step in their biking development.   Esther was the only one that wanted to bring her bike to the trail that day.  It didn't take Isaac long to feel left out. This is Isaac having no shame and borrowing his sister's bike at the trail so he could get in on the action.  A couple of days later Reid set up this very technical and well built ramp for the kids to practice on.  Reid's paternal pride for Isaac was palpable.

Christmas 2018

One of the best Christmas presents ever--Grandpa and Grandma!  We told the kids that we had to go to the airport to pick up a present on Christmas Eve.  They looked a little confused when Grandpa and Grandma waved and then got in the car.  But now, they are proclaiming with certainty that Grandpa and Grandma should NOT go home.   Isaac opening presents Christmas morning. Esther showing off her kitty pajama pants (made by Grandma), her kitty slippers (from mom), and her Anna costume (from Santa. She was one stylin' and happy girl! Isaac showing off his homemade pajama pants (from Grandma) and his light-up dinosaur slippers. Esther and her new little play house.  It's for all her little animal figurines that she loves so much.
