Work has taken Daddy away from the kids during the week. He's been on this crazy schedule since the beginning of February and he won't be done until the end of March. To break up the time he was away, visit family and friends, and to see what a real winter is like, the kids and I went to Minnesota. Isaac and Esther were super stoked to see the snow. Here we are in the airplane getting ready to take off.
Once we got to Minnesota, all Isaac wanted to do is play with his cousins and his sister in the snow.

The smiles are totally genuine. |
After about a week with our Minnesota cousins near the twin cities, we drove 6 hours to Roseau to visit my old roommate, April, and her family.

This was at Jake and April's house in Roseau, MN. Isaac is enjoying their zip line. |

Esther and April. Esther was a little dare devil on that zip line.

It was too cold to be good packing snow that day, so we settled for a tiny snow man. |
|
My friend April's husband works for Polaris, so we got to borrow a snowmobile while we were there. The kids loved it. |
|
The next day after the little snowman, the temperature rose just enough to make good packing snow, so we built a real snowman. |

On the way back to our cousin's house from Roseau, I exposed the kids to Burger King. Esther's crown fell in a used toilet about 5 minutes after this picture was taken. Don't even asked how that happened. |
