Soccer Season Starts

Last fall season, Isaac played T-ball.  He decided he wanted to go back to playing soccer.  I guess T-ball is a little too slow paced for him.  So we signed up both kids to do soccer.

This is Esther's first ever organized sports team.  Of course, now that we've seen Esther run off the field in the middle of a game, pretend to be a kitty cat in the middle of practice, and just generally be totally uninterested in the game, I'm thinking T-ball might have been better for Esther.

Isaac, however, after the initial shyness of the first practice, seems to be back in his element.  He's not the most talented player, but he's definitely got some natural talent and I can tell he likes to play.

Hopefully this season Esther will learn to be a little more involved and attentive and learn a few key things about working in groups that will help prepare her for Preschool next year.

She's trying to listen...
This is the end of Esther's first ever soccer game. They are lining up for the "good game" routine.

Below are just a couple of random pictures I wanted to include.  I got a new phone and Reid wanted to try out the camera on it, so he took a picture of Esther.  We cannot keep her from picking those flowers off of the bushes.  The other picture is of a caterpillar that stung me.  I had no idea they were poisonous.  So yea--don't touch the fuzzy green caterpillars with a single red and white stripe.  They hurt.
